Hello and thanks for visiting my website. I'll not say much about myself as that's not important. I'll just say that I'm very much an amateur photographer and I've been interested in photography since I retired a few years ago. I hope you enjoy looking at these photos as much as I enjoyed taking them. Most of the pictures on here have been taken in and around my local area, although there are a few taken elsewhere. As for the camera that I use, it's not that important...As someone once said "The best camera in the world is the one you've got with you"
This picture was taken in Lymm, Cheshire and edited to make it look like an oil painting. The house to the left of the picture was once owned by Matthew Corbett, of "Sooty" fame.
I shot this scene as I was walking along the canal towpath, close to my home. The effect that the sunlight had made the towpath nearly indistinguishable from the water.
I was attracted to this scene because of the colour of the leaves. This was taken on a trip to my local park, a place I often visit.
